Tuition Payment and Refund Policy

As a 501c(3) non-profit corporation, the Nashoba Youth Lacrosse League (NYLL) makes every effort to make participation in our lacrosse programs affordable. The organization must function within a balanced operating budget, and tuition fees must be established to fully recover operating costs. The Tuition Payment Policy is designed to minimize risks associated with non-payment and/or delinquent payment of tuition fees and is assessed annually.

Factors that influence tuition fees include, but are not limited to:

  • Field rental fees, league fees, officials, tournaments, equipment purchase and storage, merchant account fees, website hosting fees, and other administrative costs.

As such, all tuition fees are non-refundable and payment is due in full at the time of registration. Players will not be allowed to participate until all fees and any outstanding balances, are paid in full.

Any player wishing to withdraw from an NYLL program after tuition has been paid must do so in writing to the Board of Directors. Tuition refund requests will be granted on a case-by-case basis. Tuition refund requests will be considered for cases of illness and/or injury that prohibit the player from participating for the balance of the season. No refund will be granted for any reason other than the aforementioned, including, but not limited to, players leaving the NYLL program to join another organization; or due to dissatisfaction with coaches, teammates, officials, and/or the league.
